Our new feature allows you to recover your wallet using a secure, password-protected backup file. This eliminates the risks associated with seed phrases while making the process more intuitive.

Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Backup Your Wallet
Before recovering a wallet, ensure you have created a backup. To do this:
Open the Socious Wallet App and navigate to Settings.
Select Backup Wallet.
Create a Password:
Must be at least 8 characters long.
Should contain uppercase, lowercase, and a special character.
Confirm Your Password and proceed.
The app will generate a backup file.
Save this backup file securely on your device or cloud storage.
Step 2: Recover Your Wallet Using a Backup File
If you need to restore your wallet, follow these steps:
Open the Socious Wallet App.
Navigate to Import Wallet.
Tap Upload Your Backup File.
Select the backup file that you previously saved.
Enter the Password that you created during the backup process.
Tap Done to confirm.
The app will process the backup file and restore your wallet.
Create a Passcode to secure access to your wallet.
Your wallet recovery is complete!
