Round 1

Timeline

Submission Period: June 14th (00:00 UTC) to July 13th (00:00 UTC) Voting Period: July 18th (00:00 UTC) to August 17th (00:00 UTC) Winners' Announcement: August 25th

Rules and Regulations

  1. The matching pool for Round 1 is funded by the Cardano treasury. Therefore, all projects must contribute to the Cardano ecosystem.

  2. Results are determined by a combination of votes, donations, and impact points, rather than the number of votes alone.

  3. All projects must make their proposal under one of the three listed tracks: Emerging Markets, Women Leaders, and Open Innovation.

  4. All projects must clearly outline milestones in their proposal and complete them to receive funding.

  5. All projects must allocate at least $1500 within their requested amount to impact accounting.

Tracks

The matching pool for Round 1 consists of $500,000, distributed between three distinct tracks: - Emerging Markets Track ($200k) - Women Leaders Track ($200k) - Open Innovation Track ($100k)

Emerging Markets Track

Organizations based in any of the following countries:

Women Leaders Track

Organizations with women holding at least 50% of key leadership positions such as C-level executives, co-founders, and other senior leadership roles with strategic decision-making authority.

Open Innovation Track

Open to all organizations, regardless of location or team composition.
